Chris Brown’s Recent Rage and Apology.

Posted on: March 28, 2011

If you haven’t heard already Chris Brown had yet again another outburst after his Good Morning America interview with Robin Roberts. Chris Brown’s appearance on GMA was centered around the promotion of his new Cd, F.A.M.E. but turned out completly the opposite of that.

The interview portion turned into a more update story of the situation with him and ex-girlfriend Rihanna. If you watch the interview you begin to slowly see Brown’s body language change completly. As he continuously tries to avoid the subject it seems as though Roberts continues on with them. Each answer you can tell he gets more and more aggravated and turns his attention/answers straight to the fans and his music.

After the interview, Brown went on to perform  a single from his cd but it was after everything was done and over where Chris Brown unleashed his anger in the dressing room. After employees heard loud crashes coming from his room they wondered what went on to later discover that he had broke through the window, shattering glass all over the dressing room and Times Square below.

Days following the interview, Chris Brown appeared on BET’s 106&Park where he said “I felt like, it was like, O.K., you told us this just so they could get us on the show to exploit me. That’s what I thought. And so I took it very, very hard.”  This was after Brown had stated that they had set things to talk about in the interview which later turned out to be completly different than what was asked.

He later than apologized  “to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed in the way I acted.”

But through this all was Chris Brown really at fault for his actions?

I love Chris Brown as an artist and I do believe he was justified for being irritated or frustrated with what occured I think he could have went about his frustrations in other ways. Yes, the interview should have been centered around his cd coming out and not on past issues that he has gone through. As an artist he is trying to rebuild himself and I think he is doing a great job of doing it with the songs he’s come out with. It’supsetting to see him react the way he did over an interview that didn’t go his way. I think we must realize that yes even though he is an artist in the spotlight, the past is the past we are all human and make mistakes while some worse the others we all do it. His past will never leave him as easy as everyone else is but we still must respect the fact he is slowly trying to change his image. Hopefully these situations don’t happen with him again and by him taking full responsibilty of his actions and trying to change I believe they wont.

Celebrities are exploited every day and even though Chris Brown’s actions were inexcusable he does deserve to be forgiven. When I do something shameful or wrong yes a few people may know but when you are in the spot light it is a never ending ridicule. So I also do not blame Chris Brown for his outburst. Yes, he could have acted in a more suitable manner but if I was constantly ridiculed for a past mistake I made I do not know how I would respond.
